NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE DRAFT AMENDMENT #15 TO THE 2009 FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) will hold a Public Hearing on January 6, 2010,@ 6:00 PM at the Citizen''s Advisory Committee Meeting to be held at the StanCOG Board Room located at 1111 I Street, Suite 308, Modesto, CA, regarding the Draft Amendment #15 to the 2009 Fed- eral Transportation Improvement Pro- gram (2009 FTIP). The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments. The 2009 FTIP is a listing of capital im- provement and operational expendi- tures utilizing federal and state monies for transportation projects in Stanislaus County during the next four years. The Draft Amendment #15 to the 2009 FTIP is a Type 3 Amendment that con- tains project phases and/or projects that were not included in the 2009 TIP that have been determined to be exempt from the requirement that a conformity determination and/or regional emis- sions analysis be performed per 40 CFR 93.126, 93.127, or 93.128. Because these projects are exempt, no further confor- mity determination is required. Individuals with disabilities may call the StanCOG offices at 209-525-4600 (with 4- working-days advance notice) to request auxiliary aids necessary to participate in the Public Hearing. Translation services are available (with 4-working-day ad- vance notice) to participants speaking any language with available professional translation services. A concurrent 14-day public review and comment period will commence on De- cember 27, 2009, and conclude January 9, 2009. Draft documents are available for re- view at the StanCOG Office, located at 1111 I Street, Suite 308, Modesto, CA and on the StanCOG website at www.stancog.org. Public comments are welcomed at the hearing, or may be submitted in writing by 5:00 PM, January 9, 2010, to Vince Harris, Executive Director, at the address below. After considering the comments, the docu- ments will be considered for adoption, by resolution, by the StanCOG Policy Board at a regularly scheduled meeting to be held on January 20, 2010,@ 6:00 PM in the StanCOG Board Room located at 1111 I Street, Suite 308, Modesto, CA.
