3. Laminated MDF panels
Finally, MDF panels additionally coated with a laminated layer have the most successful practical characteristics. They undergo essentially the same treatment as the laminate used to finish the floor. It is possible to get wall panels with excellent wear resistance, good moisture resistance, almost any appearance.
The laminated layer is able to imitate other finishing materials. However, in terms of environmental friendliness and moisture permeability, MDF panels with a laminate layer are not as good as the previous ones. But they provide an incredibly functional finish.
